[Blaine listened to the message twice, smiling to himself, wondering who the hell Logan was talking to in the background. He called back the number. It went to message.]

Hey. It's me. Blaiiiiiiinnnnneeee. [He laughed.] I'm sorry you are mad at me, but I like you too. A lot.

[He paused.] Maybe I should stay with my brother in California sometime this summer before school starts again? It puts us a lot closer together. Drivable distance. What do you think? And listen to this when you are sober, babe. I miss you. I'd give anything to kiss you right this second.

[After pressing send he realized he called him babe. Facepalm.]

He was crying, T. Almost hysterical. Can't you just draw blood at home and take it back? He's calmer in his own bed. I couldn't... I just couldn't do that to him.

[He's shaking, calling Blaine with trembling hands. It goes to voicemail, so he leaves one.]

B-B-B-Blaine... It's Jair... I r-ran away from home... c-call me back in three hours or my b-battery will b-be o-out. I love y-you.

[Blaine almost has a heart-attack when he checks his messages a short while later, checking the time and grateful less than an hour has passed. He calls back, his hands shaking and he mis-dials the first time, finally getting it right, repeating 'pleasepleaseplease' under his breath as it rings, waiting.]

[daniel absolutely loves all of the presents, especially that golden ring, but he'd love to hear it from blaine himself, not just written out on a piece of paper.] I'm getting a little tired of phone and present tag, Blaine. Call me.

[Blaine smirks a little at Daniel's tone of voice, vaguely irritated. It seems weird that it annoyed him when they first met, but now it just seemed endearing. Must be true love.]

[He hit #1, Daniel had moved to the top of his speed dial, and waiting while it rang.]

Hey, it's me. Calling, as instructed. [He mock saluted despite the fact that Daniel couldn't see him, just people passing him on the street who looked at him funny.]

[Blaine had a ridiculously huge smile on his face when he heard the message, enough that it made almost everyone in the teacher's lounge turn to look at what was so entertaining. He held the phone against his chest, then ventured outside to sit on a quiet bench to call back, listening to Ira's phone ring, waiting for his message or for him to pick up.]
